There is Eternity, and there is ’life’.
’Work’ is meant to be the connecting force between those two. Eternity is Now/God/Higher Intelligence, and is quite beyond the ability of the ’common’ mind to ’grasp’. We do however have the capacity of being in harmony with It! ’Life’, which is generally distorted, complexed, mechanical, unharmonious and suggesting all kinds of fractured, as if, meanings, leaves people ’split’, with one foot in that world, one foot in the other. There’s no sane person that wouldn’t like to go out and lay on a beach!

It is neither a question of behavioral improvement nor merely a shift in attitude. Both behavior and attitude changes expand one's awareness of the range and change and possibilities of variety in angles of perception/cognition/individual subjective world picturing. ’Act on behalf of others’ is tricky - the Work is indirect. ’Second line of Work’ is work with others in the Work. But at the essential level, at the soul level, at the spirit level, it’s all One! There is no-one to work with but yourself!
If you live from essence, you become aware of ’something’ that most people are not seeing. You know the difference between your ’being’, on the one side, and everything else on the other. You can meet another human that is, say, acting from hysteria - but you know! You know your own ’false-selfs’, so you know that behind the false-self in everyone is that ’something’. To love it in another person, to see it, or to seek it out! When you find it, you realize that ’something’ is always the ’same-thing’. There is only One - that’s YOU in there!

The last word in esoteric psychology is pure common sense. It's not necessary to go running around yelling 'Hallelujah'. Most people try to be 'good' without being really present. Real Good takes an intelligence larger than our conditioned and limited 'morality'. One must start in peace, otherwise there is no clarity and all kinds of negativity arise. And all that while 'trying to do good'. Also, more often than not, that 'trying' is mostly an attempt to inflict an obligation on the 'beneficiary'.

What difference does it make? Must we continue to 'live from being seen'? That has many disturbing implications.
